• She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in “Law and Sharia” from the University of Kuwait, in 1972. • Her accomplishments include: -The Suzanne Mubarak Award for Children Literature for her book “The Amazing Recipe and her Siblings” in 2001. -The Suzanne Mubarak Award for Children Literature for her book “The Tale of Tales, and her Daughters” in 2002. -The honors list of the International Board on Books for Young People “IBBY”, in 2003 -The Suzanne Mubarak Award for Children Literature for her book “The Tales of Loqman, the Wise” in 2005. -Etisalat Children Literature Award for the book: “Fly Away Kite”, in 2011.
