Nahdet Misr Group has recently participated in and sponsored Egypt’s first Global Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which took place at the new administrative capital from the period of 4th – 6th of April under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sissi. The event gathered more than 500 leaders, influencers, and practitioners from all over the world in the fields of scientific research, innovation, government, higher education, and philanthropy with the intention of conducting insightful action-oriented discussions and attaining wide-ranging perspectives for the purpose of envisioning the next 10 years of Higher Education and Scientific Research in a global, interconnected, and borderless world context.
During the event, Nahdet Misr showcased its different educational and digital services and solutions it offers universities in cooperation with McGraw Hill, Cambridge University Press and Cambridge Assessment English. Nahdet Misr also presented its educational content development solutions, its different programs for professional development for educators, in addition to its vocational education curricula and programs.
Dalia Ibrahim, CEO of Nahdet Misr Publishing House highlighted that “Nahdet Misr was quite keen to participate in the forum in order to support the reform process that is currently taking place in Egypt’s education sector. Adding that the Higher Education and Scientific Research is a vital sector and key in the development of any country and in building more educated and skilled future generations”.
Worth mentioning that Nahdet Misr has been developing educational curricula and digital solutions for the past twenty years, thus; the company offers now interactive curricula and digital educational solutions at par with the latest solutions offered world-wide.
Dalia Ibrahim further emphasized that “through our cooperation with McGraw Hill, Cambridge University Press and Cambridge Assessment English; we will be able to offer universities integrated and modern educational solutions that will further develop and modernize higher education in Egypt and the Arab world”.
Nassim Abu-Ershaed, Regional Commercial Head, for the Central Region, which includes the Middle East, India, Turkey, Africa, Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia added that this project is another step to support and strengthen language learning in the Region: “Cambridge Assessment English exists to help people to learn English and prove their skills to the world. We offer globally recognised qualifications and a range of assessment services and learning resources based on years of research,” he says, highlighting that “more than 24,000 universities, companies, and employers recognise our exams”.
In accordance with Egypt’s 2030 vision, Nahdet Misr has collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Education in developing the new curricula, and in transforming all the Egyptian curricula into interactive curricula specially designed to develop the critical and scientific thinking of students. These new interactive curricula are all available on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
